Yeah but as with all multi-coloured BG's, it's difficult to be sure the viewer won't loose some text or links in similar coloured BG colours. EG the top of the board links to other areas of the site can get lost or hard to read.

you could try scrolling the BG with the page but it's kinda messy and would be limited to either light bg images or postioning the image just so and hoping like hell it still works out ok further down a variable height page - like trying to nail jelly to a tree.

And an exhalt is the cure-all? Quick, someone patent and bottle it for the masses. If I were to be so soft, fuzzy, cosmic and herbal to assume MrT would take heart from a few chars on a screen then frankly, I think another 5 smites from moi should put a smile on his dial, and all you lot are doing by exhalting the guy is making matters worse. You should be ashamed of yourselves. lol

I give up the shallow quest for the negative 10 karma rating. On an equally defeatest note, it seems telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth didn't sit too well with the model of free-speech the Z-team apply over the road, for I've been banned from that forum for the heinous crime of condensing what is publicly available information into a position opposing the opinions of others. Because that position, one grounded in verifiable fact, did not reflect very well on Z, I'm banned, without warning, for posting those facts. It's their sandpit, their rules, but I didn't see one saying I should only speak the truth when it doesn't have negative repercusions for the owners.
Where's my tin-foil hat. It's a conspiracy if ever there was one. lol.

It highlights what is a rather tricky aspect to forum moderation: At what point does a moderator censor the truth.
The flip-side of a truly open forum is that info' already in the public domain that is less than flattering can be bought into focus, along with all the good things that people have opinions on also. Exactly where does one draw the line between a 'warts and all' approach which values the perceived rights of posters to free-speech, and censoring less than flattering info' which is already in the public domain, is undeniably factual and is used simply to support a position opposite to the opinions expressed by others?
They've chosen, as is their right, to knobble the dissemination of any facts which may not reflect positively on their business. It's their sandpit. However, it leaves a rather uneasy feeling about the credibility of a forum if it allows only the "yes sir" posters and suppresses factual, opposing opinions. Such a forum lacks an element of transparency and public scrutiny that comes from open debate.
I guess that's not the forum they want and such is their prerogative.
What is a little bemusing is that I was actually reporting an increase in that posters sell-through rates from 0% to 2% on a much larger, statistically significant (having had the earlier smaller sample size dismissed by said poster as insignificant) sample size. Although, it does little to paint the posters continual deflections of the original questions in any better light.
This PC world is quite astounding at times.
