Yep, gotta love this series of graphics, blows the gray matter.
I see pluto has recently been further downgraded, seems it's even smaller than some other larger chunks out there that aren't classed as planets.

Hmmmm ... Atlas 5 rocket experiences problem during launch The Atlas rocket program's spotless success record over the past 80 flights in 14 years was hit with an apparent blemish Friday while launching a classified U.S. national security satellite payload, but the extent of the problem hasn't been disclosed to the public. www.spaceflightnow.com/atlas/av009/status.html

Cool! Some mutual friends know this bloke in Richmond that has an observatory, it's one of the best this side of the black stump, or so I'm told. (something like it's the best private observatory in the southern hemisphere or something, but don't quote me on that)
We went there one night for a private viewing, just three of us and this bloke that owns/built the thing.
Blardy amazing when you start looking at the moons of other planets that actually appear as stars in the sky etc., I love it, we are such a speck of dust on the larger scale of things...

. (something like it's the best private observatory in the southern hemisphere or something, but don't quote me on that) OK I wont... Yeah the best thing I have seen in that way was all the Rings around Saturn through a big Telescope... That was as a Parent Helper on a school camp many moons ago... Will never forget it...

Atlantis Return Delayed... Already running one orbit late, entry flight director Norm Knight, faced with low clouds, area thunderstorms and a pessimistic forecast, told the Atlantis astronauts to back out of re-entry preparations and to stay in space another 24 hours.

It's been nothing but cloud down here, shame as I wanted to get out and look for Jupiter....
Those original picture remind me of the great series by the BBC narrated by Sam Neill. They have an animation that starts with our solar system and slowly expands to show a full 3-d map of how much they think there is of the universe... it was mind boggling..
Our system disappeared into a vast system which then disappeared into a vast system and so on and so on and so on...
