me too ivy good- evil right- wrong these change with your point of view i find what one thinks is right is not always shared by others whether its religion or ones opinion of the state of the world or even whether mundane things like my rates are to high its a perception of things that makes the difference it would be a boring place if we were all the same i think so anyway

question people reject the exhistenceof the creator because seeing is believing what about electricity ,magnetism.radio waves gravity they can be measured but not seen unfortunatly there is no way to measure the creator other than faith does this mean he does not exhist or we have not found a way to "measure"him yet?

For me it is enough to believe. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I had so awesom things happening to me in my life that I believe there is a creator out there. Maybe for him we are only little pets in a cage. I don't think a turtle behind glass could imagine what is out there.

EXCELLENT illustration Ivy! And very apt ... what I do love about what Jesus said while on earth ... is that God knows when a sparrow dies - so how much more would he take notice of us? Since we were created in his image (quality-wise) then it would be safe to assume he is interested in us and has a purpose. But does mainstream religion reflect that purpose?

Sometimes I am a bit in conflict with my believes. I think everything has a purpose to be here. And I respect everyone and every living thing. But how far do I go? Shall I kill a fly? They are here for a purpose too (food for other animals). But because we have so much interferred here the balance is out of wack! And I think I have to kill this fly because there are not enough preditors out there. I don't like mainstream religion. Often I can't identify with them. Why did and do they scare people? My believes are growing through what has happened to me in life and what I learn from books. I can accept some aspects of buddhism and other religions too.

Some might think they are childish believes but at least I am happy. I don't care at all what other people think about me I only do and leave what I think is right for me. My boundries go as far as the other persons boundry starts and that's what I try to live.

They tried to eradicate every fly from China........... they paid people for every fly they caught..... they were very successful and it was an ecological disaster!!!!!! The fly break down the dead waste......... rotten food and other nasties were lying around causing all sorts of diseases ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) They re-introduced the fly and everything returned to normal. If I was to follow any faith it would be Buddhism.............

Like a fly who is also food for some other animals. But things are certainly out of wack! So I guess sometimes we have to interfer but how much is the question.

only enough to survive ivy no more no less But who has the right to decide who can life and who isn't worth it? I am probably not tuff enough for this world and get too soft even with little creatures! ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) I know I have to get rid of mice or they will take over and it costs me a lot of effort to set traps. Men are usually tuffer and can even kill a sheep or so. I can't even eat them.
