For the first time in few years I have been following the finals in the NRL.. mostly because there is so much rugby around it is almost boring me, but I digress.
Tonight is the final.. Brisbane Broncos v Melbourne Storm, the first time ever there is no Sydney side in the final. Will that detract from the pre-match hype? Probably, but from my point of view I could care less about that. Will it mean smaller crowds at the game? Possibly, but I am still expecting a full house.. Aussies love sport and I am hoping the Sydney fans are not that fickle. Will it mean the game is something less of a spectacle? NOT A CHANCE! GO THE BRONCOS. KICK THEIR RCES
Don't get me wrong, I think Melbourne might have the game to win, but I really doubt that they can. Brisbane showed class against the Doggies, to come from behind in the second half like that was awseome.. the only way Melbourne can deal with that is to keep the ball away from the Broncos for most of the game.. if they can do that, they have a chance, if not? Its all over rover!!!
