And it is a beautiful flower, well deserving of the title 'Princess'

That is a Epiphyllium I use to have a large collection of these and Cacti. Another bit of useful info that some are not aware of, that all cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are cacti. I will see if I can find some of my pics and scan them and put in this thread incuding their names.

Cheers meandog, IvyPlus also said that it only seems to give out scent at night, will test that later and report back...

I am a bit out of touch with all the names now but one that does come to mind was 'Queen of the night' that put out a very powerful scent at night, there is probably many more scented ones now. But the colours alone are breath taking as you will soon see if I can find my album.

You may be right about the name, those Swissies get a bit confused at times, lol And yes, it is now giving off a lovely strong scent, where earlier there was no odour at all, amazing.

I guess if I now change the title to Cacti Flower's' it would be more technically correct. These are awesome meandog, thanks for that. Our one had never flowered and was rather sickly until we fed it up on worm-juice, it hasn't looked back since!
