Just found it while browsing through a plant book.

This plant has grown heaps since this pic, will update ASAP, in the meantime, it looks like the Venus Fly Trap is going to flower, hope the pics show the little buds coming on...

Also yes, it is flourishing and needs to be repotted, have to ask some questions at the plant shop, as you have to be careful what dirt you put them in, you're not supposed to use fertilizer as they get all the nutrients they need through eating the bugs.

Well, it looks like your little one is growing up like it's bigger brother Capt. Sorry it looks a little neglected, it lives in a place that is easy to forget to water, will give it some TLC over this growing season... And the Venus Flytrap...

;D Nice one have not seen the flowers on them, in fact I did not know they did flower. Now the challenge is to get some seed and germinate it. LMAO ;D ;D

Good point Capt, will try and sort something there! And it really needs a repot I think, will wait till after the flowering...

Capt., any idea what this one is? If anyone would like some of this, just let me know as it is currently sending out suckers. I don't know how old this is or how long it would take to flower like this though! Top of the flowers is about seven feet tall. Looks a little like flax, much stiffer and those spikes are lethal.

The closest pic I can find is a Yucca brevfolia which has straw coloured leaves with dark brown tips, some of these species do grow up quite tall (8.3 metres) so you may have one of those species and they also seed readily if pollinated by the right insect. ;D
