Here you are, made from a horse drawn mower, some old truck wheels and driven by a 4 HP BSA motor. It worked as well, as you can see we had a long way to go to get to the water on the Kaipara Harbour. Note the brake pads. LMAO. Gotta bring this one over to the new page, I love it! ;D

;D Yeah! Whatever tickles ya fancy. LMAO ;D
Don't know if I mentioned it, but I use to have it hidden in a pine plantation, just took the motor home each time. Well I went to check it out one day and some malicious bastard had smashed the large 14" pulley on it. So that was that, I loaded it on a trailer, brought it back to Wellsford and donated it to the boy scouts. They had one similar so they just needed a motor and pulley and away they could go. People are not meant to have fun, always someone ready to spoil it.

Just finished this yesterday, its a turntable to put my model boats on so I can turn then around as I fit the deck features. Note the old cast iron pulley as a base. If one decided it decorate a cake it could be used to make the job easier. LOL ;D ;D Got to sort that typo before you know who spots it. LMAO. ;D ;D

Cool, I like the pulley. ;D
I had my Valiant V8 timing chain and cog as a wall decoration many years ago....I still have it somewhere! (I'd replaced it myself.)

Crikey, don't go by the wiki definition of Bogan, I didn't mean to be that harsh, I know what you meant... ;D

That sand buggy that I used on the Kaipara Harbour. Well here is a map of the area and I have marked where it drys out at low tide between the mainland and a sand island. The cross is approx. where the photo was taken.

After 40 years in the engineering trade I can only but stare at this in amazement and appreciate the amount of skill that went into building this. It is made in stainless steel and bronze by Mike Ho. Wish I had the time and patience to do this type of work.

;D Some may remember the other day about my disaster in my laundry and kitchen, when scouring pad fell into the wash tub and blocked the plug hole while the washing machine was emptying. Well my house is not suitable to put in a seperate waste pipe for the machine as it is to low to the ground to get under and being brick it would be a mission putting a waste pipe out the wall, so I came up with this idea. This piece of PVC pipe has a taper turned on it so it fits into the plug hole of the wash tub. The top is cut at an angle so if anything dropped onto it, it would slide off. Also as an extra precaution 12 holes drilled around the outside if the pipe. Heres hoping it will work. LOL.

;D Ivyplus will have her eyes on this beauty. Its a stainless steel rolling pin I made my mum when I was an apprentice. She loved it as it was cold and weighty, so it did a great job of rolling pastry. It is 4" or 10cms in diameter. I now have it back since my parents are deceased.

I never saw one like this before. I could imagine this rolling pin would work very well for pastery. And it could be cleand easily.
