;D My sister asked me sometime back if I could find a use for her old food processor motor. Well being a person that does not look a gift horse in the mouth I said "Sure can". ;D Well here is the finished product. I bypassed the safety switch, and made the disc which has sandpaper glued to it, so it is my disc sander for my hobby room. LOL. ;D Will show you a couple more of my crazy ideas. Perhaps I should approach Ralta and suggest I have an alternative use for their motors. Mwahahaha!!!

;D By using the carriage out of an old mechanical typewriter I made this miniature drill press for my Dremel grinder. Works like a charm.

Here you are, made from a horse drawn mower, some old truck wheels and driven by a 4 HP BSA motor. It worked as well, as you can see we had a long way to go to get to the water on the Kaipara Harbour. Note the brake pads. LMAO.

That's the one, MUWAHAHAHA, that is sooooooo cool! ;D What year would that have been Capt? Late 1960's early 70's I think. I use to use it at Tapora on the Kaipara there is a huge sandy flat out to the deep water. On a map it shows up opposite the heads. apparently if the war had lasted much longer the Yanks were going to turn it into an airfield. This flat area covers in water at high tide but only about 300 mm deep. I have once walked back thru the water and it was bloody hard going.

Tell me if I am boring you. LOL. ;D ;D But heres another 'gizmo' I knocked up to cut or draw perfect ovals. I used this when I was carving nameplates for houses etc. By moving the cross bar to different holes gave one different sized ovals. This was also a screaming success. ;D

More inventions please. ;D The oval drawing was not my invention, its been around for yonks, I decided the ones on the market were to flimsy and expensive for what they did. So I build a stronger and cheaper one. Heres a link to an American site that sells them, the price is $ Am. www.woodcraft.com/family.aspx?FamilyID=3056
