They still make that exact model today, O. I have one in my shed we use occasionally. I bought it new around 8-10 yrs ago. I think it was around $200 odd from memory.

Pretty blardy amazing how well these old cookers/lanterns have stood the test of time eh Macca, I currently have the old Coleman Cooker as featured here on page two, in active service heating the water for flushing out our new bucket milking plant. Heats 10 litres of cold (very blardy cold, at the moment!) water in about the time it takes to organise the feed for, and milk the cow. So ya reckon 20 quid was a good score?

Latest acquisition is an enameled Primus, with a roarer burner. Hoping the roarer will fit the little Optimus cooker.
