Just thought it would be interesting to explore others first aid kits ... and see what I should add to mine. Always good to keep this up to date. (I would include a three day survival kit in this as well!)

Sunnies, wallet. Should I include beer as well, even though it will need to be drunk before it gets warm, so won't last three days, not even in a chilly bin.

Beer is defineately at the top of my list for medicinal purposes of course. Great for relieving wind and constipation.

OK getting serious now Paracetamol and childrens panadol/nurofen is always in our first aid kit, as well as the ubiquitous different shaped Band-Aids (you like the big word? lol) We also keep a large cloth bandage in ours, as I frequently twist my ankle And Tea Tree oil ... its wonderful!

and what point would yr wallet be? So the thieving bastids that ransack the house during the three days we are surviving at the local school hall with 6 million other survivors while the govt issues a state of emergency as lawlessness breaks out - well so they don't clean me out totally, OK?

I have a First Aid Kit lives in my car - because I'm nearly always where my car is. It contains; Instant ice pack Cotton Balls Cotton buds Assorted bandages Strapping tape medical tape Alcohol prep tweezers sissors Assorted sticking plasters Parifin dressins tampons and pads razor blades Gloves Saftey pins Steristrips Lidocaine and a stitching kit Dettol Face masks gloves panadol antihistamine asprin Ibuprofen sudafed naprogesic Torch and spare batteries
We don't have time to go through the home kit and the survival gear.
I'm not paranoid, just realistic.
