;D If I wanted to be real cheeky, I could suggest using a 'bic' pen and draw it off. LMAO. ;D ;D No sorry I have not had the pleasure of working on one of those.

Gentle Annie is the name of a lovely countryside road in Gisborne Called such because even tho it is a very long, steep, drive It is a beautiful, and pleasurable scenic one
So if your machine gives you what for much longer,... Threaten to replace it Go to gisborne and take a drive on up the Gentle Annie,.. tee hee,!!

Many years ago when an apprentice, my mum asked me if I could take out the slop in the bearings of her old trusty F&P agitator w.m. So I obliged and did just that. But I accidently put one gear in the gear box back to front. Well it all went great so long as mum, when she turned on the agitator move very fast out of the way or collect a lump of iron in the tits. After awhile she learnt how to drive this without to much hassle. LOL.

If I lived near by I would whip around and do it for you! We had a problem with ours once, I don't think it was the agitator itself, but a nail had somehow gotten in below the bowl and punched a hole in the bottom causing a major leak... I would say turn it upside down and just start taking things out. Make sure you unplug it first though, lol! Will be sending some more feathers soon shaaabear...

Oh, we have a "Gentle Annie" near Nelson too, which hardly gets a mention, this came up on the radio one day, and they listed about five or six "Gentle Annies" in New Zealand, but the Nelson one didn't get a mention!?

My mere male son decided to try and be helpful...put his clothes in the washing machine without checking the pockets so now there are coins lodged under the agitator and in all probability blocking the drain outlet. I have no problem with that, it;s just that now he vows never to do or touch anything again. Since he is the one with the muscle power, I daresay that turning the machine upside down is now totally out of the question
