Ok we've had a chat about tattoos and kids, how old would you let your kids get pierced? And do mention where the piercing would be - ie, ears, tongue etc, and whether it would be different for a boy or a girl.

I would not have a problem with either boy or girl getting the lobes of their ears pierced. Any other piercing I feel look ridiculous. Next we will see people getting around with a piece of bone through their nose. Oops! Sorry meant to mention 10 years and older.

What about peircings and tattoos on old people? Man, that looks rediculous. I think a blue rinse would be even better.

So I look ridiculous eh what!!! I have two tattoos and studs in both ear lobes. In other words people with tattoos or piercings should not grow old for fear of looking ridiculous. LOL ;D ;D

I think my daughter got her ears pierced when she was three, one of her nannies took her, I don't mind ear piercings, anywhere else on the face or tongue piercing no way. My daughter also has her belly button pierced and that looks fine and can be hidden so I don't mind that either.

My daugther got her ears pierced with about three. Other piercings I don't really like. Some tattoos look nice on some people but I never would like one myself. But I might get a blue rinse soon! ;D

The girls can get ears peirced no younger than 5, and only if thy show an interest and actually want it done. thsi was how old i was when i got my first ear peircings. Other peircings i dont mind, but sae as with the tattoos, i will have to think about it when they are older. riht now m thinking 15 for other peircings like belly button , labret etc. rude ones - if they feel the need to will have to be bout 18, or if they leave home. Even tho they are not premanent they do leave scars and can disfigure body parts

I was about 5 when I got my ears pierced, and so was my niece. But I really wouldn't like my 2 sons to get their ears pierced - at least until they leave home, then they can do what they like!
I only have one hole in each ear, but my mother has 5 in one ear and 3 in the other ... and those were only done within the last couple of years!

ok fair enough if they are under age, but what about if they are over age For me personally - if they are living under my roof but not paying board etc ... then NO WAY. If they are of age and paying their own way, then they are pretty much their own person and can do what they like with their cash and bodies.

ok dalby but my point is, you cant stop a kidd doing what they want to do, if they go out and get one tough, lord farquart said police but they wont do much proberly laugh they have more to do with there time than kids getting tattoes, its like smoking if a kidd wants to smoke they will weather it be behind your back or in front of there parents so why not let them do it in front of you than behind your back, they going to do it anyway, then there is sex and it goes on and on and on you cant stop a teenager doing what they want to, unless you lock them up that is
