Yesterdays happy moment is not appropriate for a public forum, suffice to say I laughed so hard it made the muscles in the back of my cranium ache! Today's happy moment was when a builder bloke I used to serve when working in the timber department at work suddenly realised to whom he was speaking and told me I sounded a bit gay over the phone, hahahaha, I couldn't help but burst into a chorus of laughter! Cheeky prick!

Coming home from work was the best moment for me ;D Weally Oasis - something you did yesterday is not appropriate for this forum aye - (mind ticking overtime) OMG I love that type of laughter when it makes the back of your head ache like that - I have to share this story with you. Well my friend Carrie-anne is european but her step mother is maori - any whoooo when her father passed away all these maori's converged on there very modest house, it was literally filled to the brim. Her father (a great man) was laying in state in the lounge and there were literally people standing in the hallway - Anyway there was this guy standing in the hallway with tears in his eyes trying to compose himself, with great respect Shaun (my friends brother) took him aside and said - "its ok bro dad had a good life" the distraught man then looked back at Shaun and said - its not that bro - I used the whare-paki (toilet) after aunty Queenie and it was rotton. I'm sorry you had to hear it to understand this guy was a big arse character who looked pretty staunch but upon using the bathroom after one of the aunties was bought to tears we literally had to leave the house because we were laughing so hard it felt like someone had kicked us in the stomach because we couldn't contain ourselves. I think that carrie-anne's dad would have laughed as well he always had a wicked sense of humor. Dedication for Christopher Lynchwww.youtube.com/watch?v=FFG--wvb9Xo&feature=related

* Happy moment was coming home after a busy morning.
* Being able to catch up with YOP
* Feeling grateful for having a roof over my head, food in my tummy and knowing that I have people in my life who love me.
* Having the luxary of being able to pop a movie into our dvd.
I have a lot to feel grateful for.
Leigh ;D

It's a miserable day here in the BOP but all is well in this household:
The cat is asleep on top of the printer, his favourite spot Mrs A is also asleep on the settee in front of the fire which is sparking badly because of an old piece of Totara that I threw on it The crockpot is quietly doing it's thing and smelling great And I'm heading out to my workshop to find something to do until granddaughter arrives and destroys the peace and quiet
Yes Leigh, much to be grateful for

realising that my beloved was reading over my shoulder as I finished typing this..... You have my sympathy. was married for 19 years. Unfortunately, getting the neccesary time out to qualify for divorce doesn't completely quell the sea of negative feelings that are part and parcel of the process. On the brighter side, I have since married again. This time around, things are completely different. Even at this early stage of our relationship [we've been friends for several years and living together for 2 years], I feel more of an equal, and less of a means to an end.

today, we had to drive 45km in the rain to see a doctor and pay 50 bucks for a medical, so that we could drive to the AA office and spend 45 bucks on renewing my drivers' licence. While we were wading through the red tape, a fine chap was putting $300 worth of tyres on the car and performing a pre-warrant service.
He very kindly showed me the four worn brake pads, and the wear and tear on the rotors and calipers. $750 should cover a complete brake rebuild, and $250 should pay for a custom made back section for the exhaust system.
The bright spot of the day was that I spent the whole day qwith my sweetie instead of going to work, and knowing that she has a good safe car to drive whenever I am at work.
