Creating my thank you/complimentary cards using new zealand stamps as the decoration. Do you know the trader DavidHarcourt from TradeMe? Member #112. In my opinion, David did a lot of work to help TradeMe get off the ground. I once received a parcel from him adorned in old mint stamps, now post-marked stamped some ten or twenty years beyond initial issue. It was the day I learned that postage stamps never lose their original value. David is an author, his most popular book is Everyone Wants to be Fuhrer. I haven't had the pleasure of reading it yet. Google tells me that Dylan Bland the CEO of Zillion bought a copy off David in Sep '05. www.zillion.co.nz/auctions/88737/I would like a copy, if anyone sees an auction please let me know!

Yes, I've heard of David Harcourt, sounds like a fascinating chap.
LoL - Everyone wants to be a Fuhrer - noice!
Anyway today my favorite moment was simply hanging out with my bestest buddy in the whole world - William.

Going out for dinner and a movie (Hancock) with my husband ... and without the children for once!!
Don't get me wrong, I love my boys to bits but a night off from them is a real treat!

Sunlight - being able to de-clutter my home and workspace. I think it is the feel of spring in the air which makes females start cleaning their patch!

Going out for dinner and a movie (Hancock) with my husband ... and without the children for once!! Don't get me wrong, I love my boys to bits but a night off from them is a real treat! That's lovely. So what did you think of the movie? Me and the lads thought is was great! ;D I had a few good laughs today, the funniest stuff is never appropriate for a public forum though, haha! ;D Catching up with a distant cousin and giving him a quote for some building materials was a bit of a highlight of the day, haha, he was quite attracted to one of the ladies in the bathroom department, and told me so, little did he know that she remembered him from wayyyyyyyyyy back on the night club scene in Nelson, hahaha, what a happy ending, he went away with some sharp prices on a quote, and the bathroom lady went away with a big head,

It was actually yesterday when I made someone happy and subsequently it made me happy. I phoned a great aunty which was 90 years old yesterday and she was so happy to hear from me. She told me that another great aunty is very ill at the moment she had a stroke and can't see anymore and she fell into depression. So I phoned her as well and it was a happy experience hearing her. She can't do a lot but lay in bed and I guess any interruption to "bad" thoughts helps her. Don't forget your oldies...

Looking back over all our hard work when our house had been spring cleaned and gardens tidied up. ;D Isn't that nice looking at work done and you forget how hard it was. Love looking at other peoples gardens. When we go anywhere bigO is driving (He believes my driving is too bad). I must say I can enjoy gardens while he is driving and I love looking at old houses and at fences.

I love looking at houses/gardens and letter boxes ;D in fact I want to start a thread showcasing unusual letter boxes.
Whenever I went on a sunday drive I would take my digital camera with me just in case I came across an interesting letter box - I wish I still had those pictures, I will simply have to find more.

My happy thought was coming to the end of listing all my new zealand stamps. It's a lot of work taking photos, doing the research for these babies but I love it.

For shopping I need now not only my bag but also my camera ;D
