Interesting ivyplus.
I had heard about it, but reading the link you provided gave me a little more info.
Personally, I believe that milk protein (ie: A1) would be far less of a contributing factor to heart disease than obesity, smoking, alcohol and a host of other factors.
In regards to diabetes, I'm not sure.

I agree with you Macca. Sensationalist, media hype!
Diabetes - type 1 has no known cause except maybe genetics. - type 2 can either be genetic or brought on by obesity
The link between cows milk (vs breast milk) as a cause for type 1 has been talked about for years, but D has type1 and he was breast fed as a baby and has 7 siblings that don't have diabetes!!!
