It costs $3.50 to post a book over 2cm thick, most books would post at that cost. If you combine you can send 2 or 3 books for that price up to 1.5 kilos I think. Then it goes up according to weight.

We found a post shop that will sell ten-packs of A5 postal bags @ $2.20 each.
Not all post shops offer that discount however, and it may have gone up a little since we bought any.
This was the least expensive option for sending books.

The book arrived today, thanks very much, professionally packed, awesome trader, blah blah blah I think I'm going to enjoy this one, (I'll have to give up my sudoku-on-the-loo for a while) The blurb from back cover... A woman passing, bent with the climb, towing her shopping trolley. It's a beautiful day, isn't it? Thanks you, says Arthur, beaming. Arthur, second son of God, lives at Bob's Ponsonby boarding house with the other psychs. The time has come for him to let people know that God's about to wind things up, that people must sort themselves out while they've got the chance. Time, too, to find the Queen of Heaven and book a motel room. For Margaret, married-with-two of Howick, the second coming heralds the inconceivable. For banker husband Brian, a shot at redemption. For friend Penny, self-reconciliation. For the Reverend Kevin Connor, a crisis of faith. For TV journo-bitch Karen, anointment with celestial ambrosia. Arthur and his boarding-house mates, in the meantime, face the prospect of a homeless future, while the heavenly host are treated to a spectacle such as they have rarely witnessed. The moon is waxing over the cappuccino city - giant, pendulous, insatiable... About the Author... Michael Riddell is an urban dweller with a passion for cities and the people who live in them. For the past ten years he has been loitering with intent on the streets of central Auckland. His background as an international hitchhiker, druggie, prison inmate, backyard poet and political activist has culminated in his present mix of writing and lecturing in theology with the University of Auckland. He is a cynical optimist who believes in everything which is broken, whether people or God. A nose for spirituality and the meaning of life has fueled a quest which continues through contemplation, delight and prayer. He is married to Rosemary, a solicitor, and is father of Matthew, Anna and Katherine. It remains uncertain what his life will turn out to be... _______________________ I wonder if he is related to that David Riddell fella, the christian psychologist that wrote a book complete with chapter and verses Have been to some of his seminars, Hmmmmmmmm ...

This was the least expensive option for sending books. Im pretty sure if you buy online they work out to $2.20 , go to trademe if you use it ,and it will say buy bags or something ,they are cheaper to buy through there than at the post shop ,and they get delivered to your door ,what more could you ask for
