Another thing I've been bleating on about for years, sunlight, we blardy need it!
Don't ever get burned till your skin peels because of it, but get as much sunshine as you can!
Another blardy conspiracy if you ask me, the first sunscreens that came out were produced by the pharmaceutical industry, then the sunscreen producers creamed it...

![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) The nasty thing with melonoma (sp) is it does not show up until years later. I have seen enough patients in the plastic wards to convince me. I can remember getting badly burnt on my back as a kid . There is now two suspect moles there, that they are keeping an eye on. Sunshine is o.k. in fact it is good for you, but one needs to be sensible and NOT get burnt. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

I asked his wife where was it and she said it was behind the eye! I wonder how you could detect that early enough.

My sister is a lab technician with diagnostics, they are seeing kids in their teens with full blown melanoma. Which is very scary, you are more prone to melanoma if there is a history of it in your family or you have fair skin.
