So much to do and so little time, and when I cross something off she comes along and adds more to the list.
Less and less time to fish, sail, golf, bend the elbow, chew the cud, watch rugby, kick ass (grandchildren), work on the computer and a dozen other important things

There is a presumption that we have little or nothing to do all day but wait around for her next inspiration
The rewards we get for fulfilling these tasks often don't adequately compensate for the effort and skill required in completing them, not to mention the disruption to a busy schedule that has been planned for weeks ahead
