Actually I completely agree with you here.
Women, once they become sexually active, are encouraged to have cervical smears once every three years. They are put on a nationwide database and are sent reminders to go to their doctors for the smear. There are also many ads on TV encouraging women to go and get their smear test done.
There is nothing at all like this for men, and I don't know the statistics but I'm sure that more men die of prostate cancer than women die of cervical cancer. Yet a simple test once every couple of years could cut those statistics a lot.

You could become the ambassador for men's health I wonder how one would go about doing that? I would be quite interested, as I feel it's discrimination of a sort and ould like to redress the balance, but as I'm neither a man nor famous I guess my little voice wouldn't be heard too well.

That the health of men's prostate glands are so neglected I would like to see more awareness bought about for men's health. Nationwide campaigns promoting and teaching our boys that is ok to look after yourself - this whole - "BE STAUNCH" attitude won't help if your sick. As I mentioned in a previous post about men's issues - we as a society seem to have adopted a TITANIC type mentality - Save all the women and children first but what about our men folk. Note to self - when talking to my nephews squeeze into the conversation "so hows your prostate, Francis Junior - he's 29 years old" Leigh ;D

I guess it would help to be famous. Maybe Aztec is!
