I guess you could even make some male and female dollies for a dollhouse out of these pegs.

I have not seen wooden pegs since Adam was a boy. I wanted some of the spring loaded wooden ones and could not get them. I wanted them so I could glue different shapes of wood to them to used a clamps in my hobby studio. By using PVA glue when I had finished I would have just needed to soak them in water and the glue would fail so I could reuse.

the concept behind the Wombles were these furry little recycleologists. I'm definately a womble and love my local recycle centre - I adore those little peg angels, god I haven't seen wooden pegs like that for a long time - I think you can buy them still but they are used for display purposes mostly. "carbag"ologist = garbiologist, that is just way to cute There are to many ologists in this post

Yes they will be new, I will keep a look out for them in my travels lol, I know I have seen them somewhere and now I can't think where How big do they need to be MD, today I found some craft ones that the girls use for their dolls clothes, they are 25mm and very strong, I saw some bigger craft ones but they were 6 for $2 and had a picture of a toy soldier glued to the outside of the peg. I will keep looking as I am sure I have seen them by the packet elsewhere, still trying to remember
