On my way to work today I had to stop for a mother duck and her wee family as they waddled across the road ... one thing I haven't seen yet is baby pukekos. Hope I do, they are so cute!

Awesome pics and great thread title Naki, thanks for that, will add some pics soon. My favourite thus far is this one... img.photobucket.com/albums/v603/nakisaurus/DSCF6742.jpg...as I just love flowers! The clarity in the duckling shot is fantastic, that is a classic and should be on a calender or something, you should see if some publishing company is interested in it. I reiterate, great thread, I'll be back... (maybe, after the dishes and housework ;D )

we see so many when we go from house to house ,.its a privilidge to see lovely back yard gardens on our rounds from door to door !!

I wish that I could get better results on the dark pinks and reds......no matter how much light or what distance I shoot, I don't get the same definition.
