I was just reading about them on wikipedia. What a versatile animal. And I love them because they are clever! With some breads you can use the fibre, other breads you can milk and use the meat. They don't need a lot of space and can be used as lawn mowers when tethered. They can eat nearly any plant material. If you are interested here is the link to wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GoatA domestic goat feeding in a field of capeweed, a weed which is toxic to most stock animals.

I think baby goats (kids) look cute - but as they get older they tend to look like satan or certain people from rangiora I love the story about the three billy goats gruff. [E]

hehe I'm just kidding about goats looking like satan - they are very cute animals and intelligent - Yes I remember the fainting goats - hilarious - If I had a property with lots of land I would love one sheep, one goat, chickens a cat and a dog and they would all grow up as brothers and sisters.

Sounds like a nice mixture! I love when different animals live together. We had once a pig called "Molly". She had to go - she was attacking the other animals, biting them when there was food around.
