Spiritual giftshop. Wide range of products from christian products to wicca, shaman, budda, tao, Hindu etc.
Clothing, books, crystals, oils, music, ornaments, jewellery, hand made products made from local people, herbal remedies, herbal charms etc etc.
Had the Dunedin Environment centre move into my shop with me for a while after the government stopped their funding, so we had them as well as the organic gardens, recyclable bike library.
I also had an information area that many organizations would come on in and put information up which included things like spiritual gatherings, bible classes, greenpeace, hare krisna gatherings etc etc...

Actually there is a shop like that here in Christchurch - it's a beautiful shop to walk into - smells like flowers and spices. It has the most interesting bits and pieces - Egyptian, Greek, Roman pieces, Christian even some Gothic pieces - I love all the crystals next time I'm down that way I must take a photo of the shop - you may know it.
Bike library - is that like the GREEN BIKE trust in Palmerston North - where people with no transport can use a bike to get around the city? Basically people can use the bike for as long as they need it - Helps people on low incomes to get to school and work. My friends and I did some fundraising for various charities in the city - that organisation was one of our recipients as well as the Methodist Food Bank, and my local primary school.

Yup re the bike part, you got it. They would pay a bond, and then pay a minimal fee, between 5-20 dollars depending on how long they had it, If ya got a flatty etc, ya bring the bike in and it gets serviced for free, and when ya finished the bond gets refunded as like everything else...
Unfortunately I didnt sell much Greek, Egyptian or Roman stuff, I would of loved to though, I love that side of the world, it intrigues me, and the pieces are usually gorgeous.
So Yup would love to see a photo...
