Imagine there's no heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today... Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace... You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world... You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will live as one

I feel this also needs to be said ;D ;D
The lunatic is on the grass The lunatic is on the grass Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs Got to keep the loonies on the path
The lunatic is in the hall The lunatics are in my hall The paper holds their folded faces to the floor And every day the paper boy brings more
And if the dam breaks open many years too soon And if there is no room upon the hill And if your head explodes with dark forbodings too Ill see you on the dark side of the moon
The lunatic is in my head The lunatic is in my head You raise the blade, you make the change You re-arrange me till Im sane You lock the door And throw away the key Theres someone in my head but its not me.
And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear You shout and no one seems to hear And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes Ill see you on the dark side of the moon

Of course, this could be important too ... ;D ;D
Now the king told the boogie men You have to let that raga drop The oil down the desert way Has been shakin to the top The sheik he drove his cadillac He went a cruisnin down the ville The muezzin was a standing On the radiator grille
Chorus The shareef dont like it Rockin the casbah Rock the casbah The shareef dont like it Rockin the casbah Rock the casbah
By order of the prophet We ban that boogie sound Degenerate the faithful With that crazy casbah sound But the bedouin they brought out The electric camel drum The local guitar picker Got his guitar picking thumb As soon as the shareef Had cleared the square They began to wail
Chorus
Now over at the temple Oh! they really pack em in The in crowd say its cool To dig this chanting thing But as the wind changed direction The temple band took five The crowd caught a wiff Of that crazy casbah jive
Chorus
The king called up his jet fighters He said you better earn your pay Drop your bombs between the minarets Down the casbah way
As soon as the shareef was Chauffeured outta there The jet pilots tuned to The cockpit radio blare
As soon as the shareef was Outta their hair The jet pilots wailed
Chorus
He thinks its not kosher Fundamentally he cant take it. You know he really hates it.

Oddly enough, the 'Rock the Casbah' lyrics came up as 'related' when I looked for the 'Brain Damage' lyrics lol

See, there are some very talented 'insane' song writers out there! We say so much in songs, why can't we say the same things in words when speaking to others? Why is it we need to hide behind the 'music' to reveal how we are feeling? Just a thought!!!
