If you're looking for a change of scenery and more fishing, how about jumping on board with the top marine workshop in the Bay of Islands. The job is service team leader and the perk is getting your hands dirty checking out shafts, gauges, bearings and propellers on the top outboard brands – Yamaha, Honda, Evinrude, Johnson … and the list goes on. Mostly outboard - no bilges, no under-boat work, all above board. So, who’s the bright spark we’re looking for? This is what most likely defines you: You’re an experienced marine mechanic, you’re nuts about boats and like nothing better than an engine in need of tender loving care. You're experienced in maintaining and reconditioning outboard motors. You get on well with most people including colleagues and the boating public. You are well used to organizing a team of mechanics or technicians. You’re dedicated to quality and service at all times – after all, engine breakdowns are annoying 2 miles out at sea! From naught to full throttle, our company is gearing up for even more success. If you want to be a part of this slick team, get your CV through to us fast. Come and enjoy the easy lifestyle in the Bay of Islands, where the fish are plentiful and traffic is never a problem

OasisNZ says, if only I was single, Muwahahaha! ;D Oh, and a fully qualified mechanic... Nice advert Manuela, very well written, knowing that English isn't your first language and all. So are you French speaking? What part of Switzerland are you from?

I grew up close to Olten... so Swiss German is one language but French just as strong.... My last job in Switzerland was in Magglingen at the Sports Institute - can't get more multi lingual than that!

Just checking with Ivyplus, we used to visit the Brockenhaus in Olten, the one run by the Salvation Army (I think), there is a HUGE grain silo on one side, and a chocolate factory on the other! Those grain silos were amazing, there are many things about Switzerland that really blew me away!

Sissach over the hills, where they talk like they got a sore throat (I went to school in Basel) LOL, and here was me thinking that all Swiss spoke that way! Have you advertised in the papers etc. also? You must be under a heck of a workload if you could do with another hand.
