actually JB that painting is reminiscent of Castlecliff in many ways - the black sand, the storms - love the ambience of that.

These artworks are lets see, very different!! They are started as mere pencil drawings in fact - most of them are drawn under magnifying lamps and then they are mounted on boards painted with acrylic then overlaid with natural substances from my garden or the beach. They are then sealed to produce what I call a 3D animal collage. They are VERY textured and I hope they send a message about the plight of many of our beautiful animals. JB is purchasing the Takahe for her dad. (just trying to work out how to post photos). hmmmm HELP how do i put up photos?

Well - my knowledge is way better in art than recognising bird species it seems NOT A KIWI that is the Takahe that JB is buying for her dad. This time we should get a Tuatara *CLOSES EYES AND HOPES FOR THE BEST
