The Tutor has changed her mind....she has now decided that the painting I finished today is the one for the exhibition........... Casting Nasturtiums..........

Excellent, you've done a great job with the colours on the can ladypenelope!
(Did you know side note: You can make "False", or "Poor Mans" Capers from the small caper shaped bulb left behind after the flowers of Nasturtiums have matured...)

Excellent, you've done a great job with the colours on the can ladypenelope! (Did you know side note: You can make "False", or "Poor Mans" Capers from the small caper shaped bulb left behind after the flowers of Nasturtiums have matured...) That wasn't a very good picture...the colours are actually better than they appear. I can understand about the capers........ I eat the nasturtium leaves and flowers..... they are great in salad

WOW, they appear pretty good here, would love to see the painting in person one day, when and where is your first exhibition to be held? Yep, all parts of the nasturtium is edible and make a lovely adornment to any salad!

I won't get it back until after the 27th of November because the Exhibition runs for 2 weeks. I'll take a decent photo of it then. I'm still getting 100 aker Wood framed too because that's Jac's Christmas present

I love your work Pene!!! Having viewed it elsewhere....very natural artwork...you certainly do have a gift of talents!!! I use to watch my uncle Rei Hamon in the bush....and that environment was his palace....!!! I have many of his art work...I can't draw for peanuts..lol but that's not to say I don't have an eye for artwork....!!! You keep going girl....Have you ever held your own exhibition? Be awesome.....

I remember we had to do a pen and ink drawing for an art exam once.......... very, very time consuming work, but very satisfying

Maybe one day you will "Open an Exhibition" hmm "Lady Penelope's Art Exhibition" lol....I go an visit the Art Gallery here alot exhibitions and the likes Mr Twinkles has seen ya work and says VG .... who is the artist? "Lady Penelope I tell him"..... and my Uncle is a lovely person with it, his son has his own website now ... and some of Rei's pics still on the web too. Yes, he spent 100's hours dotting away there never know you might have an exhibition in ChCh oneday.....
