When you go to this link: www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Dynalink/RTA1320/WebcamXP.htmIt will show you how to set up your router. Copy exactly how the page is into your router admin page. If you look down the page it shows you an empty table that says: Protocol, External Packet (Port Start/ Port End), Forward to internal Host (Port Start/ Port End) Then immediately underneath that, it shows you what to put in the boxes User Defined: WebcamXP1 (you put UBroadcast) Forward to Host Internal IP address: 192.168.1.2TCP 8080 8080 8080 8080It then adds another line that is 8090 but ignore that...

Now go to the portforwarding.com link and do what it says. Open it in another window so you can flick between the two to see what you need to enter...

You can't get into your router admin?
My password defaults to "admin" so try that...
Remember to enter things into the router admin page, not the portforwarding.com page (only the IP gets entered into the portforwarding.com page...)

This is where the problem lies, it won't accept my username or password and I tried admin, my password has not been changed, so I think if I can get over this hurdle things should be all go. But how???
Not really the way for moi to learn. LMAO.

What a fiasco I have been through. I went off line and was not able to get back on. So I rang my ISP and they also had problems getting it sorted. We got there by using IE as Firefox was not going to cooperate. Well it took just on 35 mins to get it sorted so fingers crossed it will stay o.k.

We are talking about this screen, right? The website says: "By default your password is . Click the button to log in to your router. " Does that mean your password is a blank? or a dot? As I said earlier my password is "admin" for a very similar looking screen...

Yep mine is admin in both, got that far, but it was when doing the next stage every thing turned to custard and I am unable to think why?? It even had my ISP scratching their heads. I won't be able to play around again until my AVG scan is complete and that will be after 9-30 am.
After all that my neighbours crank up their stereo, so I rang noise control, shit that made me feel heaps better. LMAO

Ladeda, how much to fly you up to our pad to get you to portforward our modem? Maybe you could stop off halfway, and sort dawg's modem out on the way. ;D

You don't change or enter anything until you go to this screen: and then you enter UBroadcast in the userdefined box 192.168.1.2 after "Forward to Internal Host IP Address" then 8080 in the next four boxes. Then you're done! Do you think Firefox is the issue? I'll google it and see if others have had the same problem...
