Okie Dokie ... How about we pilot an Idea I have on YOP. This is open to any member on here. What I'll do is give you the same 'lessons' I am giving my offline students.
Each lesson takes a week. So if you want to be part of YOP's class let yourself be known and show us your pictures at the end of the week.
The goal: Is to get anyone to draw at least adequately. Primarily a portrait however the skills you hopefully will learn will help you in all aspects of art.
So lets just have some fun. (There will be no charge as this is a pilot scheme).

Week One: *If you dont want to show the world the pics just message me and u can send them to my email for my comments*
To learn to draw, we must learn to draw with our eyes, not our hands - our eyes are the medium that transmit to our hands the beauty we see.
To do this lets set the first a low bar for yourselves. What I want you all to do is take FOUR pieces of A4 paper ... *size of typing paper* and draw the following things.
1. A person head and shoulders in pencil. Just as you would draw them now.
2. A person doing something like reading or watching television.
3. Your hand you dont draw with.
4. A Chair
Beside each drawing write what you like about it and what you dont like about it. Sign and date them, then put them in a file.
DO NOT worry if you don't like them. Its to compare your improvement down the track.
Have FUN!!!!

Hey Manukarose, I'm pretty keen too, but time is very restricted at the moment, should be able to free up some time after next week, so I will try and catch up then, thanks, it's a wonderful idea!

Well the idea here is to split up the program i use into ten different lessons, so each week I'll put up a new, doesn't mean you have to keep up with them though - work at your own pace and just pm me whenever you need help or just a little feedback. And I work best with people who think they can't draw. xxx

Photobucket links are the best way yes i agree ... less messy I think. So if you want to start an album on Photobucket and just pop yr work in there I can keep up with the progress. Thanks for that Snooka much appreciated. Shame you aren't joining, but feel free to pop in anytime. x
